This movie is about one family. Dr. Donald Middleton is father. He works as a preoccupied doctor and medical researcher. He always busy about his work. Elsa Middleton is mother. She stayed at home with his little daughter whose name Molly Middleton. The relationship between Donald and Elsa in the lastly is not quite good because Donald is very busy at his office so he did not have enough time to stay with his family. This reason make Elsa is bored and lonely. Eventhough they just pinic together. Then Rolfe Brent, a rich horsey neighbor, takes her riding that make she so happy and then they often met together. On the other hand, Molly did not understand and so sad because she love her parents so much. Absolutely, there are some impacts to their marriage. Molly decided to run away from home with her black puppy. Along the way she met one old man and he taught Molly something. Finally, Donald can found his little girl at waterfall where they always pinic together and then happy ending.
I like the character of Molly because she is very lovely, clever, talkative and playful. That make me enjoy with this movie. This movie always show what we call love and relationship in the family.

Shirley Temple!! Always cute and always cuddly. She made a fortune with movies like this in the Great Depression. The job of these movies was simple - get the audience's mind of the misery of reality. People were hurting and starving. They paid a dime (10 Cents) to be taken away at the movies.
The movie is designed to make you feel happy. It did a good job, didn't it.
